The Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience student group (BBUGS) at Georgia Institute of Technology are organizing a "Technique Symposium" in which students, staff, and corporate tech reps will be delivering short seminars (30-45min) and in-lab demonstrations (1-3 hrs) of experimental techniques commonly used in bioresearch projects around campus.
Goals:
- To provide a platform for the engineering and bioscience community to learn new techniques, learn the latest developments in specialized software programs, and view products they may have not had exposure to
- To allow companies to interact and establish relationships with graduate students and faculty
- To allow a select number of vendors to exhibit in the IBB atrium showcasing the their latest technical developments and new products

Bring your own samples and ask the experts. There will also be vendors on site to show you some of the latest technology and products.
